Bareback

Took Jeepers out bareback today, just to see what like. The wind is up a bit but he remained calm throughout. His trot is surprisingly easy to sit to and he is so straight that I felt pretty secure. We also had a surprise canter when I'd asked for a trot... It was the most comfortable and rounded canter. 

We got charged at by a couple of calves alongside their field and although he was quite frightened by this, he didn't take off or do anything concerning, just took my reassurance and stood his ground. 

This boy is amazing!! We are having so much fun together, no pressure, no hurry, just learning and exploring together. 

So lucky having Gorgeous by my side, a damn fine pair of horses and the best stupid dogs in the world.
