An 'Airy Man

My Grandad, Arthur Robinson, used to call these 'Airy Men, or Esau.

Esau, apparently, was a hairy man.

This, I think, is the larva of a fox moth, though I am willing to be corrected by knowledgeable and erudite types who may drop by.
