Colour, warmth and cheer...

...on a cold drizzly day. I finished this quilt this afternoon, binding it with differently patterned fabrics of soft pink.
A cosy task and gentle therapy as grey skies persist.
The morning saw me in the garden however, gathering sweet oranges, grapefruit and lettuce and cavolo nero. I then squeezed the oranges...4 litres of grapefruit juice and 2 litres of the sweet ones. I've spotted a Maggie Beer recipe for braised cavolo nero which I think will be perfect for dinner...mmmm.
