Bean and Sausage Gratin
Gratin of cranberry beans with Toulouse sausage and sweet peppers, and fresh white sweet corn. Wine: the rest of last night’s Bordeaux.
This was a hearty, tasty dinner. The corn was a nice contrast (sweet and clean tasting) brought about by the necessity of cooking up the corn in my CSA box while optimally fresh. (For those keeping track at home: the peppers and onion in the gratin were also from the CSA.)
