Vessels in a greenhouse
Saw only one show at the Fringe today, Paul Merton and his impro chums. And very good it was too. Improvisation comedy at its best. The show passed in a blink.
Earlier we’d been to the National Trust’s Malleny Gardens near to Balerno. Passed the entrance many times, today we turned in to have a wander around. Lots of different butterflies especially on the Buddleja and many different species of bees.
Today’s shot was taken through the glass of a greenhouse with this interesting collection of vessels. No idea why they were there.
After dinner, just as the sun was setting we all set out to walk along the Water of Leith in the gathering gloom to the Kinleith Mill pub. We entered part the way through the pub quiz. Unofficially we did very well on the sport but bombed the Music round.
