Hawk Take Off

As I pulled into church this morning there were two hawks sitting on the top of the steeple cross. I grabbed my camera, checked the settings and took aim. I failed to remember the fact that I had taken some timer pics the night before..... As I waited for the 10 seconds (an eternity this morning) to tick off the hawks decided it was time to leave.  I really didn't take any other pics today and I didn't even realize that I had captured this one until much later as I was transferring images to the computer. Happy accident, I guess.  Glad I followed him instead of giving up on the shot!
