A species of Longhorn Beetle.
Pachytodes cerambyciformis probably, the Speckled Longhorn. Potentially rare in the UK, certainly not often seen in Cumbria, but our birch and willow woodland is ideal for them apparently.

A long day in the Mancave updating teaching materials for a course tomorrow. Also completed a very insightful QPR module of cpd as a Mental Health trainer. Made sure to intersperse time sat in front of a screen with time playing with a puppy.
