Thistle bee ok?

Off down by the docks to find wild flowers for the Wild flower week challenge . Not very successful. Lots of these purple thistle type flowers on one side of the path but the others had all turned to seed on the other side.. ...strange. 
As I focused, a kind bee posed for me.  The only other flowers in profusion were convolvulous . Considered a weed but  it's quite pretty really so I added it in my extras
It's very still outside this evening, warm and not a  breath of wind, always unusual when you live on the coast. The weather forecast is bad for tomorrow , a shame for all those people who have had to cancel special outdoor activities. Let's hope it's not the bad storm theyve predicted.  Take care everyone.
