Parkgate

We went to see our friends on the Wirral today. The pub where we had lunch overlooks Parkgate. It’s hard to believe all the green in the foreground was once the sea. That’s Wales on the horizon. The bench is on the ‘prom’. There’s still a seaside feel with 2 ice cream shops and a chippie. D and I had a glass of wine at lunch and got the giggles. She’s from Yorkshire and told me she was “right pleased “ when she found out I was coming over......best compliment I’ve had for ages :-)
