Year of the Snake

Celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary today by having a meal out in the countryside and then a walk round the pretty village of Buckland. Ross spotted the interesting local library and I saw this decoration on top of one of the several thatched cottages. 2013 will be the Year of the Snake in the Chinese calendar, although the New Year for that is not until 10 February, so technically we are still in the Year of the Dragon. Either way, I thought it made a suitable blip and it was a good way to spend our special day.
