Diary of an Edinburgher

Fife Day Two

We were lucky weatherise today (thunder, lightning and rain all day in Edinburgh). We had dry weather! Warm, at times.

As this is just a B, not a B&B (new folk just taken over) we popped into town for breakfast - coffee and a croissant in a cafe that Kate and Wills (probably possibly) met in. We then had a wander around town. In fact, we walked all the way down to the old pier, round the cathedral and back along by the castle. Miles! (7,787 steps - a LOT for me).

This town is crowded with visitors and tour buses. And begonias! Fabulous flower displays everywhere. Again, very polite seagulls - see the one relaxing on the top of a car, minding its own business.

A seafood treat tomorrow!

Orangutan School on TV. I love it. I don’t know who's more endearing - the orangutans or the lovely people looking after them.

PS Archie is making himself very much at home - draping across Christine's lap so that she can’t do her knitting.
