Results

We were going out for lunch anyway, whatever the news was, but my eldest's Nat5 results were great it turned out so, you know, definitely celebratory rather than commiseratory.

And after some stuff in town, we ended up going to the flicks for free to see The Lion King, basically just because we wanted an ice cream (and the Baskin Robbins sundaes there are really pretty decent).

Finally, it was out to the Pleasance in the pouring rain for us grown-ups later on to see Alun Cochrane, someone who we've seen plenty of times before, but who has taken a bit of a harder direction for sure this year with his show. A bold move perhaps...certainly more political opinion.
