SPURNED . . .

My first visit to Spurn Head since the new Visitor Centre was opened. Grand views from the café . . . grand cake . . . and, around the bay, this view across the North Sea by the Humber Estuary. For me . . . a first siting too of a White-Rumped Sandpiper. Some proper birders pointed it out.
