Lengthy

I've felt cold all day. Maybe that's because it's been a cold day, or maybe I'm fighting off something.

I well and truly nodded off on my bus ride home. I woke with a start to find all the other passengers nearly off the bus. I had to scramble to make my own exit.

I bet the bus driver was relieved that he didn't have to wake me up.

A minute later I was eyeing up the last rays on the path before dipping behind a house.

Today's gratitude: For the warmth of a hot water bottle.
