2019 Sunday — Friends

Some days are meaningful; some days are memorable; and some days contain enormous amounts of both. It was so good for Mr. Fun & I to spend time today with Jack, in spite of the fact that the fog never cleared and the view never appeared.

Years ago Jack was just a very nice kid in our jr. high church youth group. Then approximately 20 years ago he started directing our retirement finances. After the 2008 Recession when many folks lost significant amounts of investments, we were having our annual visit with the CPA to have our taxes figured and he told us our retirement advisor had done a magnificent job in keeping us from losing money. Jack is the guy who manages our retirement.

So it was fun today to show Jack our little lavender house on the coast.
