Lapsang Souchong
One of my favourite grumpy old man things is to tell my kids the age that I was when I first tried... garlic, pasta, chinese food, flew in a plane etc ..... all the things they take for granted.
Well I first discovered Lapsang Souchong maybe a couple of years ago. It's smoked tea - tea leaves smoked dry.
It reminds me of summer night bonfires at the Loch Linnhe croft where all of my clothes end up smelly of driftwood smoke for the whole week & also my favourite Islay peaty whiskeys.
I really like that I really like it and relatively, I've only just discovered it.
