Swimmers’ shoes

These intrepid locals swim every morning in the sea. My beach running seems very feeble by comparison! A busy day including a voluntary shift in town over lunchtime. Home to meet up with very old friends who are visiting Edinburgh this week. They, and I, independently thought Edinburgh was less busy than expected today. Maybe it was because of the Scottish “bank holiday” or perhaps the tourist tide is beginning to ebb?
