Meet and greet!

Lady Findhorn and Lottie met up for the first time today and cuddles were involved!  

I met Lady F off the 10am bus and then took her back into the Hope to catch the 4pm bus back to Stromness.  Six hours of almost non-stop chat!  Somehow we never seemed to run out of things to talk about!  

While we took Lottie for a brief walk, Mike prepared a lovely spread of salady things and wine for lunch and, after the cake and coffee course, he wisely retreated and left us to it!  

The haar hung about in the morning, but cleared in the afternoon so we were able to sit in the sun and enjoy the garden.  It was a lovely day, so good to have such easy company and be able to have a relaxed time together.  Hopefully there will be a few more days like this before Lady F leaves!
