Driving home

This is the QE2 Bridge, or Dartford Bridge as it’s known, on our way home from North Yorkshire today.

The light pretty much sums up the weather on our journey - flipping from bright sunshine to absolute doom on and off all the way home. At one point we hit a line of low pressure which knocked 8 degrees off the temperature and the rain reduced the visibility to nearly nothing... all I can say is thank goodness N had his wits about him (as did the person behind us on the A1) and that we had new front brakes fitted a couple of weeks ago.
