Carskey Bay
Overcast start to my day off but after seeing the weather forecast we decided that the day should improve and headed south to Carskey and a walk on the beach.
The tide was well out. As we had hoped the beach was empty and we had it all to ourselves. We walked along to the far end. The sea and river had made large sand spit at the far end and we were able to get out to the end of that.
Coming back we went along the path at the back of the dunes.
Lots of painted lady butterflies to be seen, sadly didn't get a shot of any.
Nice to get a walk along the beach.
