Not so many today

We had a bit of bright sunshine in the early part of the morning and a few butterflies appeared.

I was delighted to see a Red Admiral as they’ve been missing from the fabulous displays and magical clouds such as I’d only ever seen on tv, mainly Painted Ladies and Peacocks.

This one stayed quite high up, amid the leaves.

It’s gone quite gloomy now so I’m not expecting many more butterfly visitors.
