………………..Snow


We woke to snow well below the bush line on all the surrounding hills/mountains in the Nelson/Tasman area of NZ. Further south and the central North Island are extremely white under a thick covering of the white stuff.

Once the nearby Takaka Hill road was opened to traffic mid morning we took a drive as far as Ngarau Caves. While they were closed, the carpark was available and this is where my photo was captured.




Many thanks for the comments, stars and hearts for yesterday’s blip. For those of you unfamiliar with these gardens, the hop plants are vines which are trained up string attached to overhead wires. The small bits seen in the photo are what remains after the vines are cut down during harvesting.
