Cali, Helen, the HG and I drove to Dawyck Gardens near Stobo.  The weather was very pleasant but with rain threatened at times.  We arrived in time to have a snack before joining a guided tour of the gardens.  

I bought a gentian plant, which will go in our alpine tub, and the HG bought another which I can't remember the name of.

A nice drive home, and then we were treated to dinner out, which was lovely.  And finished the day at home with some wine!
