Coniston and Tarn Hows
Last full day in the Lakes and LDC and I decided to go back to Coniston early before the crowds. We spent some time on this jetty to take different pictures, then we fed the ducks, then we went to Tarn How’s on foot. It was a lovely walk and we loved both the trek and the Tarn. Lots of ducks, lots of water lilies, fab views. We also walked around the Tarn and we were treated to the best thing ever: tens of painted ladies feeding on thistles! We then learnt this was something reported in the news as well, not just for this Tarn, but in the country in general!
Another great dinner out finished the day!
