These are the valleys
Where the white soldiers killed nearly all of the Nez Perce tribes in 1877. Incredible atrocities happened here and the surviving Indians were forced to march to Kansas to a reservation where the rest died from cold, hunger and malaria.
This is in Southern Montana and it is nearly all we saw today.
I cannot understand why these enormous vast wide plains were not big enough for everyone. My heart is heavy today.
