Putting it into practice

I set up my camera and tripod and marched in the back garden just after 10pm this evening. Determined to use what I’d learned in my tutorial a few days ago. Thick cloud cover!!
Undeterred, I waited and watched. The clouds eventually cleared and I saw stars, literally. Still not perfect but so much better than I was.
I am very aware it looks pretty rubbish on a small screen.
