On the bonny bonny banks....
Oh the forecast wasn't good for today, but undeterred we set off out with raincoats and brollies to the pretty wee village of Luss, on the bonny bonny banks of Loch Lomond. Us and a million other tourists that is. Clearly all here to fondly remember that classic and nostalgic soap opera Take the High Road which was based here.
On to a Gruffalo/fairy wood.....the heights of 'Rest and be thankful', Inveraray Town and then Castle....inside and out. (Fond memories of a blip meet with Mothershipton there x) The weather was exceptionally kind, we managed to dodge most of the downpours and I'm fully dosed up on the freshness of forests, expanses of water and the beauty that Scotland is.
