Middlewick House
We left Port Solent this morning and headed in the direction of Corsham in Wiltshire. Our destination was Middlewick House, the home of Nick Mason (drummer from Pink Floyd) and his wife who were holding an open garden in aid of Wiltshire air ambulance. Nick is a big car collector so a selection had been put out on show (more pictures here). We met up with a couple of good friends from the Triumph owning/driving group and went for a lovely pub lunch nearby.
After lunch, Annie and I headed over to Caen Hill locks, an amazing flight of 29 locks on the Kennet and Avon canal. We walked from the top to the bottom and back again of the main flight of 16 locks, that was enough (see extra).
Another lovely day.
