Love on an Alp

I couldn't believe it, I saw one of these relatively rare, black veined whites not long ago and today, these two were making more for next year! We were on our way back down from Pic Chaussy, a fabulous walk taking us past a herd of yaks! The view back down the way we had walked up was lovely too. So a couple of extras to give the flavour of the day. I am so relieved that my ankle felt "normal" after three weeks.

All of our visitors and potential visitors have now returned home taking earlier flights as Heathrow could be on strike tomorrow. They were lucky to get flights, tomorrow might be chaos.
