She's coming again??

Well, the BBC weather app was wrong again (I love it when it happens in a good way). Warmth and sunshine most of the day, until late afternoon.

But just in case of rain, we popped up the hill early(ish) and it was steaming hot. Archie wasn’t really in the mood for running much, but did run down from away up the hill.

And then - bonus - I told him that Elizabeth was coming again today!! She and her Spanish visitors popped over after their lunch in town, because we'd enthused about the scones at our local cafe. And so we all went over to sample them. They then walked down to visit the Craft Fair - we'll go another day, it's on all month.

I spent the rest of the afternoon reading my new book, but keeping an eye on the Surrey Bike Race - lovely scenery. Actually, this time last year, we were there (Surrey).

The (small) cases are out... a wee trip looms.
