Final View

We were up early this morning as we had early starts with 2km to walk to the start. Combined with this we had the club tent to erect.

The mist was down when we got up but was already burning off as we drove away. This view is from the back of our cottage. Every day produces different views. The only downside being the lack of any WiFi.

As one of the early starters I felt I was creating the elephant tracks through the vegetation which would make the going easier for later competitors. However I was accurate despite being slow in picking out the final control amongst the spectators. Pleased with 11th place. Overall I was 12th on W60 long and pleased I stepped up from short in my last year on this course. As always I feel I could have done better but pleased my weeks performances were consistent.

A long but trouble free journey home. Even time to get the washing turned round! But felling rather tired for some reason.
