Peacock on thistles

After a day catching up on jobs around the garden yesterday, we had a walk out at Pennington Flash this morning.  There were a good few birds around, and a good range of butterflies (I'm confident that I saw Speckled Wood, Peacock and Brimstone - and probably a Painted Lady but that was a long way off).

An extra of a swan feather taken as we ate our post-walk icecream. 

Now catching up on bits and pieces to get organised before I head down to London tomorrow.
