A bee enjoying the flowering mint

This mint is in a container outside the back doors, where it has spread since I transplanted a couple of shoots last year. I've not observed its flowers at close hand, but they are rather pretty though small. This bee was all over it and needed to approach the flower carefully to insert its proboscis to get to the pollen. I like the way random pollen granules have become attached to its body.
