Emperor Dragonfly Ovipositing

The pond is, to put it mildly, akin to pea soup. Three weeks of being away and a bright, hot sunny summer has brewed something the koi are climbing through rather than swimming. I've run the filter through once and dropped some barley straw in, but it'll take a time for this to clear.

It hasn't stopped the dragonflies though, who are loving it.

We began the day with dawn table tennis, which is an extreme sport when played with Janet and me clad only in a loose dressing gown... And later it's lunch with my brother and his wife, and then back for grandparenting and an Ivy visit. Hope she remembers us!
