A Long Day

We left the twins.... (can you identify which one this is?) at the back of 9am.
Stopped in Leeds for cheap fuel (we had a voucher)
Stopped to get the essentials - as seen above.
Went to Richmond near Scotch Corner (a place to be explored on a future trip) to get cash before meeting friends for lunch at a farm shop on the A66 (they had been staying with a mutual friend for a few days and were heading back down south ... complete with mutal friend) so it would have been silly and extremely rude not to stop for a chin wag and something to eat.
Stopped near Penrith so SWBO could get a new pair of (costly) slippers and I could fail to get a woodturning tool (the shop was shut).
Finished the trip home in the rain and the dark.

Life returns to normal.
