Lochan No. 3

This is the view that greets us each morning. We have been blessed with good weather ( the long range forecast had predicted a very wet week). We have Orienteers and good friends next door and then a lady who lives in the end cottage with Bella the terrier and a couple of very friendly chickens.

Today was a middle distance event (shorter but with more controls). Loved the knobbly terrain and had my best run of the week. The extra shows what I think is a Fritillary butterfly found near our cottage. The other extra is the run in which unusually shows a lady running with her dog. It is an assistance dog and so has special dispensation to accompany its owner.
