Atmospheric

I've been doing a "Winter Thrush Survey" in the Gight Woods since October well today I only saw one thrush on a 6 km walk, still its a nice walk and the survey lasts for a couple of years ... and the data will be of scientific value (I hope). In addition to my binoculars, I also had my camera and snapped Gight Castle on the way in ... on the way out it was dark and the calling of an owl gave an extra spooky atmosphere :)
