Microsculpture

We went for a nice wander to the Botanics to visit the Microsculpture exhibition of macro photos by Levon Biss. The images are absolutely fantastic. Each photo is a composite focus stack made of about 8000 individual images. The thing that amazes me most is the lights are changed between different sections to highlight particular aspects. Yet the whole image works really well together.

We also enjoyed the sunshine, a wander through the gardens and a pint in Stockbridge. The boys are back from their week long camp. They had a great time.
