Remembering Polish Heroes

Walking on the prom with T’s sister recovering from her recent hip op we were pleased to see this chalked tribute to the events in Warsaw 75 years ago.

The beach was busy. The day was warm and sunny. The tide was low when I ran before breakfast. It was even lower when we walked back from the Porty Monthly Market in Brighton Park.

A solitary military jet over flew Portobello to launch the 1930 Tattoo performance.
