Rose bay willow herb

Out with my 24 mm 'pancake lens'.. my Camera Clubs challenge  was negative space.  I was hoping for something against a clear blue sky but it was overcast.  The focusing seems better with this lens as opposed to my kit lens so quite pleased with this photo of one of the most common flowers growing about here. It will grow anywhere and many consider it a weed.. but I like the cheerful colour.
It seemed like it was going to be much warmer today so we didn't go far to walk Fletch, just strolled round the woods by the Abbey for a very pleasant hour. 
Very still outside, not a breath of wind, unusual when you're  on the coast.
