Spendy

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellows,

This box arrived today. As you can see, the boys were very excited about it.

JASPER AND PUNKY: Things for cats! Things for cats! Things for cats!

They were disappointed to find it was, in fact, a big box of hair things for Caro. There was a new hair brush and a travel hair dryer.

ME: Is this for when you are in the hospital?
CARO: Yes, I've started to put together a box of bits.
ME: For your two-day hospital stay.
CARO: I know. Feefs found out and said, "Gawd, you're so SPENDY".

It's good to know that Feefs is with me on this. It's also good to learn a new word. "Spendy". Feel free to use it the next time you play Scrabble.

However, I feel churlish denying Caro anything when she is just two weeks away from going under the knife. I don't care if she is spendy, I just want her to be happy. 

And anyway, Punky inherited Caro's OLD hair brush! He was delighted by it and rolled and rolled around, smiling and purring.
