Cloud 9

I think I had about 3 hours sleep last night, I really wasn’t looking forward to our flight. We all got up at 3.45 and left the house just before 5am. It was surprisingly quick to check in and get through security, there was just time for a quick drink before they called our flight as we were off! There’s something very surreal about flying above the clouds. I’m not sure I could ever learn to love it but at least I know I can tolerate it.
We picked up our hire car at Murcia airport and drive the short distance to Los Alcázares. Our host was here to greet us and even though the cleaners hadn’t finished we were allowed to drop our luggage off. The children went straight in the pool and D and I had a wander into town to find some lunch and have a look around.

We had a few hours by the pool this afternoon then got ready for dinner and walked down to the sea front and along the front until we found a main Street full of shops and restaurants. We had a nice dinner then a saunter back to the villa.
Looking forward to a day by the pool tomorrow.
