Bird on a Wire

Today we checked out a new area in Toronto and had to be creative as the trail was flooded.  I was enjoying watching the swallows fly under the boardwalk we were on but they were far too fast to get a photo.  On the way back, we came around a corner and there was the entire family!  Four fledglings and parents. Eventually, all flew off but one little fledgling who was quite content to sit in a ball on the boardwalk...much to the dismay of the mother. As cute as it was, it was so hard to get the eye so I settled for this one on a wire.

A long day spent walking and photographing wildlife.  Just how I love to spend a day  : ))
