Steps to the top .......

....... of the extensive rock garden in Edinburgh Botanic Gardens. Not too many flowers but plenty of greenery. It was a beautiful day for a wander round the gardens.

After having some lunch, L and I joined the masses who were strolling up and down the Royal Mile watching the street artists and snippets of some Fringe performances.

In a quiet corner I spotted a henna artist, with the steadiest of hands, creating the wonderful design in the extra.

Before separating and going for our trains, me to Glasgow and L to Kirkcaldy we just had to have an icecream :-))
