Dovecoat Cottage. Rusty duck

On 19th June I visited a charming garden and published part of it on blip -the lady invited me back for afternoon tea today. It was an absolute joy sitting in the garden drinking tea from Royal Dalton china, shortbread biscuits and listening to her stories of her art teaching,her cottage restoration, plants and her career as an artist. I found that we had a lot in common and taste and loved both the inside and outside of her home. As I mentioned in the previous blip-we share the same name. Must mean something??
