The Project

The sewage treatment system, that is. The big hole in the ground is almost filled, but the final form will be a little hill as it needs to be covered with a layer of soil to protect it from freezing in the winter. Some pipes need to be installed before that and the rest of the macadam goes in between.

Took one load of barley (loaded before this project began) to the heifers' home farm in the morning, then drove off to buy some more stuff and while there, asked a garage what they think it would cost to repair the van's running problems. Couldn't say right away, but they called later. Much more than I was afraid it would be! Also continued making the new fence and finally had some time to work on this project.
