In the playground

On our way to Carlisle we diverted to meet up with Blippers in Uldale. A very pleasant hour spent with a lovely group of people on a bright sunny day. This is part of the group after lunch in the playground of the old school - now Mae's Tearooms. A fine turnout we had - here is the full list.

Before dropping down into Uldale, we stopped on the lovely road above Caldbeck. Gordon went walking and I was chasing butterflies. I know we are all awash with Painted Ladies, but I couldn't resist one more (extra) - there were several on the Thistles - my identification chart says - can often be spotted in open areas full of thistles . . . exactly.
