Perpignan

A bus trip to Perpignan.  It seemed silly to driver 50km each way and pay for parking when the bus fare is €1 each way.

First visit to the Bank and then after a late breakfast to the Musée d’Art Hyacinthe Rigaud for an amazing exhibition of Rodin face á face Maillol.  I know a bit about Maillol, ‘cos he was a local lad, but I was not aware of the strong relationship he had with Rodin and the similarity of their approach.  Think I might go again.

So, two blips of the exhibition, one of the River Têt running through the centre of the city, one of a very comfortable looking dog and of course Salvador Dali, who considered Perpignan Railway Station the “Centre del Monde”
