Feeling a bit horse

In the spirit of my resolution, I'm trying new things with my photography. I haven't had much of a chance to take shots today but this horse seemed like a good subject.

I've adjusted the levels and colour balance and whatnot a bit, using GIMP, trying to get to grips with it and work out how to use it!
