Off To The Races

So, the challenge of the day was to restrict myself to one lens, one body.

This was taken with the fabulous 50mmf2 and XT20 in and around Galway earlier today.

Today was Lady's Day at the races meaning everyone heading off to the races got dressed up (curiously, while the ladies all looked fab, the men all dressed like extras from an episode of Peaky Blinders or a Mumford and Sons video) and the streets were heaving with people, music and photo opportunities.

Working with only one lens is quite a challenge as you need to frame and compose differently than you would with a 23mmf2 (my weapon of choice).

But I enjoyed the day and am happy with the results!
